Action Nissan recently announced a multi-year partnership with the Nashville Zoo to help the Zoo with community outreach and involvement. Following a donation of five vehicles from Nissan North America, Action Nissan enhanced the vehicles with colorful imagery for the Zoo’s community outreach efforts. Additionally, Action Nissan gave away backpacks to the first 500 kids through the Zoo gates today in honor of the announcement.
Nashville residents will see the fleet of branded Nashville Zoo Nissan vehicles around town, featuring fun and playful images of some of the Zoo’s most popular animals. The vehicles will be used by animal care, operations, and veterinary services personnel for the transport of animals, equipment, food, and educators, as part of the Zoo’s “Animal Ambassador” and “Wildlife on Wheels” programs. Both programs bring animals out into the community for an up-close experience at local schools, libraries, camps, and community centers.
Beyond the launch of the Zoo’s newly-branded Nissan fleet, Action will work closely with the Nashville Zoo over the next five years to sponsor special customer appreciation days for Zoo guests and Action Nissan clients. Specific information on these “Action Nissan Days” will be available soon on the Zoo’s website at www.nashvillezoo.org.
On September 17th, the Zoo welcomed Nissan employees from all over Tennessee. More than 2,300 employees and their families visited the Zoo that day. Action Nissan handed out branded backpacks to 1,600 guests. Action Nissan plans on 20 sponsored events over the next year.
