Specs, features, trims – There are three versions of the 2016 Nissan Titan on the market: the S, SV and Pro-4X. The S and SV have four doors and six seats each, while the Pro-4X has four doors and five seats. All three versions boast a Cummins® 5.0-liter DOHC 32-valve V8 Turbo Diesel Engine, 310 hp and 555 lb-ft of torque standard, a 6 speed automatic transmission, remote keyless entry and NissanConnect with mobile apps. With the upgrade from the S to SV, you also get Advanced Drive-Assist® Display and power heated black extendable tow mirrors with puddle lights. The Pro-4X goes a few steps further, offering rugged 18″ aluminum-alloy wheels, Bilstein® off-road performance shocks, electronic locking rear differential, transfer case and lower radiator skid plates and Hill Descent Control.
The 2016 Nissan Titan is not only top notch in terms of utility, but also in luxury; spatially and visually this truck offers many appealing features. All three versions of the Titan come in 13 exterior colors with seven different interior shades to choose from. The interior of the 2016 Titan was designed with extreme usage in mind. Heavy-duty vinyl seat wear provides waterproof protection for any spills and/or inclement weather you may encounter. The Titan also features heated front driver and passenger seats and a heated steering wheel. Looking past what’s on the inside, the Titan offers illuminating bed lighting, a dampened assist tailgate and a 120-volt outlet so as to accommodate any need you might face on any job.
2016 vs. 2015 body style – The 2016 Nissan Titan is, overall, a bigger truck than the 2015 model. The length, height, and width are all considerably larger so as to ensure top towing and hauling capabilities (224.6 in., 74.6 in., 79.5 in. vs. 242.8/243.2 in., 77.9/78.3 in., 79.5/80.7 in.). The interior room in the front stayed the same with 41.8 in. of legroom and 41.0 in. of headroom. Although, the 2016 Nissan Titan offers passengers further comfort with a more spacious backseat.
